New Family Fun Day planned for Camberley
Aura Care Living and Aura Care Construct have teamed up with Alzheimer’s Society to host a Family Fun Day on the town’s Kings Ride.
The luxury retirement specialists are behind the incredible new care home situated on Kings Ride and this is where the free to enter event will be held.
Aura Care Living recently announced Alzheimer’s Society as their Charity of the Year and this will be the first event aimed at raising money for them.
“We have brought in a bouncy castle, face painting for younger children as vintage fun fair stalls and craft stands for all to enjoy,” said Aura Care Living’s Lizi Clapham. “It is, of course, free entry so we are hoping everyone can come up and support what we are doing.”
The Family Fun Day will take place at Kings Lodge on Sunday October 1st 10-2pm.
Jess Hillicks, Alzheimer’s Society Community Fundraiser for Surrey and West Sussex, said: “It’s great that Aura Care Living and Aura Care Construct are giving their time to support Alzheimer’s Society. Dementia can happen to anyone and there is currently no cure. But with the right support, people can live well with dementia.
“As a charity, we rely on the generosity of individuals and organisations like Aura Care Living and Aura Care Construct to help us continue our vital work so that Alzheimer's Society can continue leading the fight against dementia.”
