Aura rewarded for creating pleasant place to live
Aura Care Living was awarded second place in the estate agent’s, Knight Frank’s, prestigious Luxury Care Home Awards for this year.
The Gloucestershire based company, which is in its infancy has only just opened its first care home in May of this year, collected the award at a glittering dinner in London.
Kings Lodge is situated in Camberley, Surrey. It consists of 64 individually-designed rooms, beautifully furnished to accommodate people who require different types of care including residential, residential dementia and respite care.
The large, super-stylish building is set in 15 acres of woodland and tucked away at the end of its own drive and also offers the amenities of a bar, cinema, retreat SPA room, its own on-site hair salon and various different lounges.
Aura Care Living, described as a luxury retirement specialists, is also building a large retirement village and care home in the Cotswold town of Cirencester with the help of the investment group – Octopus Healthcare, Aura’s fund managers.
Peter Lloyd, marketing director of the Painswick-headquartered company, said: “We are only really in our first year, so recognition like this at such an early stage means the world to us. We are incredibly proud of Kings Lodge and what we have created for our residents.”
